An Oasis of Diversity and Opportunity
In Southern California it would be difficult to find a more ethnically and geographically diverse setting than the desert region that falls within the service area of the Desert Regional Consortium. It would also be difficult to find more varied employment options than those offered in this same region. Combined, these diversities create an oasis of opportunities for those living in the region as well as those considering change.
All ethnicities are represented and complemented by the members of the assorted tribal nations. Career options and opportunities include, but are not limited to: hospitality, construction, education, health, agriculture, alternate energy, golf and festivals. The desert region has also been recognized internationally for its commitment to music and film.
